I joined The Casita because I was craving a real community of like-minded Jefas who get it.. the wins, the struggles, and everything in between. What truly sealed the deal for me was Kita, the amazing founder of the CCJ community. Her story, her heart, and her “why” behind creating this space resonated deeply with me. I knew I wanted to be part of the community she envisioned.. one where I could feel less alone, safe to grow, supported, and free to show up as my full self.

I was drawn to The Casita because I’ve always loved how Kita shows up so raw and honest on Instagram. Her posts made me feel seen, like she really got the struggles I was going through. I also loved seeing how the Jefas in this community had each other’s backs, no matter where they were in the country. I knew I wanted to be part of that.

I chose to join The Casita because I was looking for a sense of community.

Before joining, I felt really alone. I didn’t feel like my circle fully understood my ideas or how hard it is to start your own business—especially as a first-generation entrepreneur stepping into the online space. I was looking for community, support, and people who just get it.

I was alone as I started building my business and didn’t realize that I needed a community of individuals that could talk through barriers and celebrate successes with me.

One of my biggest struggles was showing up on social media. I’d get stuck overthinking everything and feeling like it had to be perfect. But the #ShowUpJefa challenge helped me embrace the idea of doing it scared and imperfectly. Doing it together, as a community, made it so much easier, and more fun! It’s something I genuinely look forward to now, because it pushes me to put myself out there… and I love a good challenge!

I struggled to connect with other Latina entrepreneurs and needed motivation and support.

Finding community. I was doing this business journey on my own and finally found a space where I felt seen and validated.

I have gotten more visibility, have created long-time friendships, have received and provided support and have received guidance and support from jefas and of course Kita who is an astounding leader full of empathy but also so much knowledge.

Since becoming a member, I have gained confidence in posting on social media. I have facilitated several workshops and started an Instagram series called Degree Diaries.

Since joining, I’ve felt way more supported and less alone in this journey. Having a space where others truly get it has been everything. It’s helps me to keep going and to keep taking imperfect action as I have the best cheerleaders here that I didn’t know I needed, and that has made all the difference.

Since joining, I now know I have a supportive community I can lean on. I’ve gained so much from being surrounded by other Jefas who show up, share their journeys, and have been through similar struggles. I no longer feel like I’m figuring this out on my own.

Everything has changed! I’ve found so many other Jefas that are now part of my extended familia. I have traveled with them, collaborated with them, and grown as an entrepreneur.

I’m surprised at the number of friendships I’ve made. I expected to find some support but it has exceeded my expectations!

I’ve been so blessed by how much value the other Jefas bring to the table. Everyone has their own magic, and learning from their workshops and offers has helped me so much, especially in this season of figuring things out as I go. There’s so much wisdom right here in this community and sometimes getting special member-only discounts? That’s just the cherry on top!

The warmth that I experience from everyone. It is a space full of women who are truly supportive and who are sharing their journey con amor.

Honestly, how quickly I felt included. I didn’t expect to feel so connected right away—it was such a welcoming space from the start.

Co-working is one of the most valuable aspects of this community. Also being able to reach out and strategize with other Jefas is incredibly useful.

Honestly, it’s having a safe space where I can share both my wins and my struggles without judgment. I’ve been part of other communities, but I haven’t felt the same level of genuine support as I do here. In The Casita, I’m met with celebration, compassion, and real understanding. Being surrounded by other women on a similar path feels comforting and empowering and exactly what I need in this season.

All of it, but my favorite are co-working sessions and strategy calls. We get to work together focused and during strategy calls, we get to share our challenges and receive guidance and strategy suggestions.

The CCJ Casita has been an inspiring place to go when I need to engage with like-minded Jefas. The women inside the casita are accepting, so encouraging, and someone is always able to respond or bounce ideas off of. Kita has created a wonderful space for Jefas to learn and grow and be themselves, something not every group can say. I’ve been part of different groups, paid and unpaid memberships, that don’t always allow for authenticity. The CCJ casita does.

The Casita has helped me feel way more connected, not just to others, but to myself as a business owner. Hearing other women share openly made me feel less alone, and that sense of community gave me the courage to keep going, even when things feel unclear. I may not have it all figured out, and who does? But being in this space has helped me trust myself more, show up more confidently, and take #imperfectaction without waiting for everything to be perfect.

The Casita has helped me by knowing that I'm in a safe space. I can make mistakes, I can feel scared, I don't have to be perfect while I'm building my business which ultimately helps to become a better entrepreneur. It is truly a space where we can be imperfect and come out of the other side feeling confident.

The Casita has helped me feel more connected and confident. It made me realize that my ideas aren’t crazy or out of reach—they’re valid. Being part of this community has really helped me trust myself more in my business journey.

I know that I can come into the Casita and practice anything with my Jefas - anything from my introduction, an offer, talk through a pricing structure, or something else. That gives me clarity about my work and supports me in being confident as I move forward.

You will be kicking yourself thinking "Why didn't I join sooner?" It is a space that is constantly innovating, evolving and the women in the space evolve with it.
